He figured that there must be a way to hop from one set of information to another that’s on different computers. While working at CERN, he became frustrated at having to log on to different computers to find different information and thought that there must be a better way. HTML was originally developed by TimBerners-Lee while at CERN. Some common Web technologies to develop websites are HTML, Javascript, CSS, XML, XHTML, AJAX, ASP.NET, PHP. Web server is a computer that stores and hosts a website to make it available to its clients with the help of a specific URL link. It also provides an interface that allows the sharing of information between a Web server and its clients. Web technology is a standard that allows to develop Web applications with the help of predefined sets of classes, objects, methods and properties available in a markup language, style sheet language, or programming language.
